NIL Value Calculator
An estimated annual NIL range for a high school baseball player, in about twenty seconds. No email, no account, no wait. Every multiplier we use is printed further down this page, so you can check the arithmetic yourself.
How this is calculated
Most NIL calculators send your numbers to a server and hand back a figure you cannot check. Ours does the whole thing in your browser, from the four tables below. Nothing is hidden, and nothing leaves this page unless you save it to your dashboard yourself.
- Start with the annual base range for your projected division.
- Multiply it by your market size, then by your graduation year factor.
- Work out what one sponsored post is worth: followers divided by 1,000, times the rate for that platform, added up across Instagram, TikTok and X.
- Multiply that by 8 to 16 paid posts a year to get the social add-on.
- Add the two together. Low plus low is the bottom of the range, high plus high is the top, rounded to the nearest $50.
- NCAA D1
- $1,500 to $8,000
- NCAA D2
- $400 to $2,500
- D3 or NAIA
- $100 to $800
- JUCO
- $100 to $500
Per year. Calibrated to published college NIL tiers, then discounted for baseball, which pays well under football and basketball everywhere.
- Major metro
- 1.3x
- Mid-size city
- 1x
- Small town or rural
- 0.8x
Local brands in a bigger metro have bigger budgets.
- Senior
- 1x
- Junior
- 0.85x
- Sophomore or younger
- 0.7x
NIL money is earned at the college level, so a player further from campus is further from the deal.
- $10 per 1,000
- TikTok
- $12 per 1,000
- X
- $5 per 1,000
Dollars per 1,000 followers, per post. Annualized at 8 to 16 paid posts.
Worked example, computed by the same code that answers the form above. A junior projecting NCAA D2 in a mid-size city with 2,000 Instagram followers: base $400 to $2,500 times 1 times 0.85, which is $340 to $2,125. Social: $20 a post, times 8 to 16 posts, which is $160 to $320. Added up that is $500 to $2,445, shown as $500 to $2,450.
