The Cape is the one every player has heard of. Ten nonprofit teams on Cape Cod since 1923, host families, wood bats, and more future big leaguers than any summer league alive.

The Cape Cod Baseball League and each of its 10 teams are non-profit organizations. The mission of the Cape League is to provide affordable family entertainment. Some teams may ask for a donation at the gate, others may "pass the hat." Fund-raising is a year-long process with each team and the league dependent upon donations, contributions and sponsors.
