PIL

The PIL has run summer ball in the Seattle area since 1992. Seven teams, wood bats, Memorial Day to mid-August, and a shot at the NBC World Series in Wichita.

  • You get in by contacting a team directly, not the league
  • Rosters are mostly current D1, D2, D3 and JUCO players
  • 24 league games plus non-league games against WCL and Alaska clubs
  • Nonprofit league, community first, Seattle Studs are the flagship
PIL players are mostly current players from D1, D2, D3 and junior college teams around the country, although some PIL teams also allow former professionals and college graduates to participate. The PIL was originally formed by a group of baseball franchises from the previous Northwest Amateur Western International League. Organized as a nonprofit corporation, the PIL has taken great pains over the years to ensure that a community orientated philosophy is the guiding objective. How to get in: contact a team directly

Season runs roughly Memorial Day through mid-August (league FAQ). Each team plays 24 league games plus non-league games against ABL, CCCL and WCL clubs. Nonprofit, NBC affiliate, NBC World Series in August.
